What is ShoeMate?

ShoeMate helps people with different shoe sizes for each foot find others to swap with. If you wear a size 9 on your left foot and size 10 on your right, we connect you with someone who wears 10 left and 9 right. You both buy the shoes you want, meet up, and swap to get the perfect fit!

How do I find someone with my mismatched sizes?

During signup, specify your split sizes (e.g., Left: 9, Right: 10). Our smart matching algorithm connects you with people nearby who have complementary sizes. You can also filter by brand, style, and location to find the perfect swap partner.

Do I have to pay for the app?

ShoeMate costs $4.99 as a one-time purchase with no subscriptions. This gives you unlimited access to swipe, match, message, and find your perfect shoe swap partners.

How does the swap actually work?

Here's the typical process:

  • Both people buy the shoes they want (you buy 2 pairs of size 9, they buy 2 pairs of size 10)
  • Connect through the app and chat about meeting
  • Meet in a safe public place
  • Exchange one shoe from each pair (you give them a size 9, they give you a size 10)
  • Both of you now have perfectly fitting shoes for both feet!

Can I change my shoe sizes after signing up?

Absolutely! Go to Profile → Edit Profile → Shoe Sizes. You can update your sizes anytime, which will automatically update your matching preferences.

Why isn't my location working?

Make sure location services are enabled: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → ShoeMate. You may need to restart the app after changing permissions. Location helps us show you swap partners nearby!

How do I report a problem with another user?

Go to their profile, tap the menu icon, and select "Report." You can also block users directly. For serious issues, email us at acblick@gmail.com.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. Note: This cannot be undone.
